On Saturday, October 14, 2006, CME will participate in the FIA sponsored  industry-wide disaster recovery test, which will also include other U.S. futures exchanges, clearinghouses, FCMs, and back office bookkeeping software providers. All CME and CBOT member firms are strongly encouraged to participate in this very crucial test. In preparation for this important test, CME has scheduled two preliminary tests for member firms on Saturday, September 9, 2006 and Saturday, September 30, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CDT. The purpose of this preliminary testing is to ensure that firms are able to connect from their DR sites to CME’s RDC.
